How long is the game?

Loca-Love: My Cute Roommate is a approximately the same length as one volume of our Corona Blossom trilogy. The average player can expect to spend about 8 hours to experience the entire game.

Is there any censorship in the game?

We are currently evaluating our release format for adult titles on Steam due to their new policies on adult content. We can promise that the game will be available through Steam and a method will be available to play the Steam version with all content intact and no mosaic censorship, but whether this will be through an off-site patch or via some other method is currently undecided. We’ll make an announcement in the updates as soon as we make a decision! We’re also offering a digital standalone 18+ version of the game through third-party sellers. This version will not include DRM, and will be mosaic-free just as the “patched” Steam version is.

Does Loca-Love: My Cute Roommate have dual language support?

Yes! Just like our most recent titles like Momoiro Closet or the Corona Blossom and Phantom Trigger series, Loca-Love: My Cute Roommate supports display of both English and Japanese game text, as well as the display of both languages simultaneously.

Yes, “Loca-Love: My Cute Roommate” is the first installment in the Loca-Love series! Further installments are planned for release in 2019 and potentially beyond.

How will shipping be handled for the campaign? Why does it cost the amount it does?

All tiers apart from the “Let’s Live Together!” tier will be shipped via e-Packet Light or an equivalent shipping method. “Let’s Live Together!” will be shipped via EMS. All packages will include tracking and insurance. If you wish to upgrade to EMS, please contact us directly and we can help you out with that. The shipping costs are based on the actual SAL shipping charge plus the cost of packaging and labor for shipping. The shipping charges are not inflated in any way.

Can I pay with PayPal?

Unfortunately, Kickstarter does not support PayPal as a payment method. However, if you make a pledge at any tier, you can upgrade to a higher tier on BackerKit after the campaign, and use PayPal on BackerKit to cover the difference. Please do keep in mind that if limited rewards sell out during or after the campaign, you will not be able to upgrade to those tiers in BackerKit.

What name will be used in the credits?

We will use your Kickstarter display name for the credit roll if your pledge tier includes your name in the credits as a reward. If you want to use a different name, please send us a message BEFORE THE CAMPAIGN ENDS. As the game will be completing production shortly after the end of the campaign, we will not be able to process any name changes after that point, and tier upgrades in BackerKit will also unfortunately not be eligible.

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
